DPAC REPORT
The District Project Advisory Committee
(DPAC) meetings were held under the Chairmanship of the District Coordination
Committee (DCC) to review the programs of Rural Health and Education Service
Trust (RHEST) implemented in the Nepali fiscal year 2076/2077 in 15 districts
under the seven provinces of Nepal.
These meetings were conducted in Magh, Falgun, and Chaitra, 2077
(February, March, and April 2021). The government authorities and other
stakeholders actively participated in all meetings and gave their valuable
suggestions for the further improvement of RHEST’s programs.

Rural Health and Education Service Trust (RHEST)
Background
Rural Health and Education Service Trust (RHEST) is dedicated to ending all forms of gender-based violence, including girl trafficking, child marriage, child labor and to promoting woman’s reproductive health. Currently, RHEST is supporting more than 12,000 vulnerable girls in the rural communities in 18 districts of Nepal in their education to prevent child marriage, girls trafficking and child labor. Girl’s leadership and capacity development are other focused areas of RHEST’s programs.
RHEST is looking for qualified candidates for the post of Director of Admin and Finance (DAF) for its head office in Kathmandu.
Job Title: Director of Admin and Finance (DAF)
Location: RHEST’s Head Office, Bishalnagar, Kathmandu with about 15% of time in field visits
Department: Administration and Finance
Reporting to: Executive Director and Associate Executive Director
Duration of assignment: One year with possible extension (anticipated start from June 2023)
Salary and benefits: As per the rules and regulations of the organization (Not less than 150K in Gross)

Role overview
As a member of the senior management team (SMT), DAF will lead the overall financial and administrative management of RHEST and its programs. S/he will manage cash flow, statutory requirements, procurement/logistics, financial forecasting, NGO compliances, asset inventory, and office maintenance/insurance.
